Services Offered:
Group classes are for a hour and a half.
Every course consists of eight classes.
Each class is divided into two teams.
Teams and individuals attempt to earn points
during the course. At the beginning of
each session, we will go over homework answers
and solve any difficult problems from the
homework as a class on the board. Then,
we will teach a new lesson to the group.
After the lesson, the class splits up into
their teams and attempts to complete the quiz
for the day together. The quiz covers
concepts taught during class. After the
quiz is completed and answers are reviewed, we
allow each student to begin their homework
packet, so they have an opportunity to ask
questions and obtain assistance from a tutor
before going home.
Private and Semi-Private Tutoring Sessions are for one hour. We
have each student bring old tests, homework, and any
questions about the current material with them.
Each session will consist of homework help, reviewing
previous concepts in the chapter, and review for
upcoming tests and quizzes. If time permits,
we will also teach each student some of the upcoming
material in the chapter. This gives students
confidence during the upcoming week at school,
because they have already been exposed to the new
concepts. Private and Semi-Private Tutoring
Sessions are scheduled by appointment only.
